If we paid less than Michael Thomas, the contract will be a better value. They are two very similar talents at very similar stages in their respective careers. I kind of agree with you in that we need to develop our young players, but on the other hand, we didn't have a red zone threat last year and he may provide that. Between Thomas, Graham, and Williams we've upgraded the red zone threats. If Graham makes a couple of TD's then he's a viable third tight end.
