Leonard Fournette still out there as well.

You need quality guys because the O line can’t stay healthy.
No guarantees Jamaal doesn’t get nicked up either.

That is the conundrum, isn't it? Sign someone now whom may never be used save during practice and preseason and late in games, or have him at the ready WHEN injuries flood the backfield.

Not sure why, but methinks Fournette does not want to play for the Saints, having spurned us once already when he bolted to the Yucs.

Surely there has to be a younger cheap back out there, maybe fixing to be soon cut. Merrick has been practicing there. Maybe it shows he isn't going to make it.

Last I read, he has a hamstring issue so there's that. Probably won't get to showcase his talents vs the Chiefs this weekend.
