The team doctor John Amoss believes that Jimmy Graham was likely suffering the effects of a seizure when he was apprehended Friday night¹³. However, there is no information available on what kind of seizure he experienced.

Maybe the Saints bring in another veteran TE after the final cuts?

No timetable on if/when Jimmy G can play football again.

I have Juwan, Foster & Taysom. I don't see Krull making this team.

I don't see Jimmy Graham making the opening day roster at this point but do believe he will be one of those players brought back in week 2 and will be one of those guys released and brought up several times during the season.

Krull dropped the ball(s)... pun intended. Maybe also be the reason Grambeaux sticks around. We haven't seen./heard much from the rest of the position group, save Juwan and Foster.

Out of curiosity Matthew, is this recent event why you feel he won’t make team?

I don’t know if they will have time to get all the answers they need for him to get back on the field for the start of the season. If cleared I can see the call up after week 1.

I know this to be true, unless a proven diagnosis on this neurological event is found Jimmy Graham’s flying days over. “With a history epilepsy a pilot can be considered for certification only if there has been 10 years since the last seizure and 10 years since anti convulsant medication has been used. A single seizure might be reconsidered if at least 4 years have passed since the last seizure and no anti convulsant drugs were used”.

True AG but the FAA’s position on this type of event happening whether a seizure or some other causation it must be reported immediately and they ask that you surrender your Flight medical.

I have seen this more than once minimum 4 years of no reoccurrence is almost always enforced. Good friend had a similar issue never regained his medical.

Working commercial pilots their livelihood is literally medical to medical every 6 months.

only that he was arrested and a medical professional for the NFL claims/says so. speculation....right. Either the original arrest is correct or the dude wearing the stethoscope is.... but speculation
