Re: Jimmy Graham Arrested?

All I know is I’ve never seen someone having a “seizure” while upright and mobile. Especially running or jogging. That doesn’t make sense.

Now I have seen people become combative after the come out of a seizure. But that’s rare and it’s also not for long periods of time.

The whole thing is weird. I sure hope everything is on the up and up and not a cover up.

Who knows.

Re: Jimmy Graham Arrested?

I think it's safe to say that Graham did not suffer a seizure. My bet is on somnambulism or a sleep walking episode. That would also explain the behavior when "awoken". Apparently something known as "confusional arousal" can occur when awaken. The person can exhibit the following ...

Acting confused or disoriented when the person wakes up;

Aggressive behavior when woken up by someone else;

Having a blank look on the face.

This sounds very much like what the police described as Graham's behavior when he was confronted.

Sounds like drugs to me. The police are sometimes wrong but generally know by looking at someone what they are high on, thus the arrest then sent to hospital just in case they overdosed. Who knows for sure...

He would have absolutely been tested while in the hospital. If it was drugs he wouldn't be out there on the field today.

Perhaps true, but I do believe NFL testing and testing from police are two different issues, if no charges are ever filed then nothing will become of it.

According to reports, the Saints team doctor, John Amoss, was there with him at the hospital. He would have undoubtedly had plenty of tests run immediately. I believe the Saints would be required to self report if there was any positive drug testing.

Another report ...

The fact that Graham isn’t expected to miss more time because of this incident is an undeniably positive development. This also means that the veteran has likely been cleared of any charges from local authorities. At this point, we could see him take the field on Sunday against the Houston Texans.

Re: Jimmy Graham Arrested?

If you google phrases like walking seizure you will see there are many types of seizures and anything is possible. A seizure can broadly effect the whole brain and knock a person down or effect a very specific region and only block some functions. In the latter case it could easily disrupy higher reasoning without preventing aimless walking.

Another possibility: He could have taken Ambien or Lunesta.
Some people taking these drugs sleepwalk or do unusual things in their sleep, such as:
making phone calls
cooking
eating
driving
having sex

Also possible that Foskey and/or Kroll took these before our preseason game.

Possibly. Both are on the "permitted list" of substances in the US Anti-Doping Agency EXAMPLES OF PROHIBITED AND PERMITTED SUBSTANCES AND METHODS.
