Re: Saints @ Panthers Game Day Thread
We can’t say x team beat y time by z, so if the Saints don’t beat y team by the same amount or more as x team then they aren’t as good. Styles make fights. Our offensive line isn’t the greatest right now and the Panthers have a great front 7.

We have played against a couple of really good defenses and won, called it ugly, but we scored more points and in the end “W” is the only statistic that counts. I felt like the play calling was too predictable, less motion, run on first down. It allowed the Panthers D to tee off on Carr way to often. The Panthers had the script. After all the criticism and hand wringing of the off season moves on the defensive front, the addition of Sheppard, Saunders, Breese with Jordan and Granderson certainly looks to have been the right moves by Allen and Saints scouting personnel. Linebackers … Ggggreat that’s all that needs to be said. Our CB’s are elite, just get Adebo to stop committing off ball penalties that cancel great defensive play, 2 weeks in a row now. Safety play is solid. Clean up the mistakes, keep improving, stay healthy and on to the next test … |
