Re: Tre'Quan Visiting the Broncos
I think that amounts to an argument that Trequan's injures were not a moral failure. But I know they were not a moral failure, they were a physical failure.
Personally I think there are room for 3-4 kinds of receivers on an NFL roster: stars, incredibly reliable backups, special teams standouts, and/or young players with big upside. At this stage in his career Trequan is not incredibly reliable because he has only been good for 10-15 games a year and is constantly missing practice and coming back rusty from injuries. You can't be reliable if you often don't play at all. I haven't seen a ton from him on special teams, and he can't be a major player there either if he can't stay healthy. But at the same time he is also no longer so young, the odds are low for any breakout season at this age. So, if you want a role player, you are better off finding one who can play 17 games. If you want a project, you are better finding one who still hasn't hit their prime and might become a star. |

I couldn't wait to hear that we cut him. However, he had a strong preseason and you can easily see how much better we are at YAC when 3Q was in blocking. Our young guns don't block well and it shows!

If we have a winning record and they keep DA around fine. As long as they don't start trading away future 1st round picks. But if we have a losing record, DA needs to bring his talents to Arkansas State.

I want to see him make the changes necessary to begin scoring more points. Young coordinators are tearing up the league while awkward Pete keeps choking in the red zone. |

Re: Tre'Quan Visiting the Broncos
I really don’t think Prime is coming to the NFL. I also don’t think he’d be as effective as he is on the collegiate level. I’d be looking at Kellen Moore (LAC) and Ben Johnson (DET). Truthfully, I’d offer Mike McDaniels $20 million a year to leave the Dolphins. Brilliant offensive mind.
