Observations from the Saints Loss to the Bucs before Halftime…

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I've made my position pretty clear, I don't think Carr is the problem. I actually think he's good. He hasn't been that inaccurate, the stats show he hasn't been. The problem is that Carmichael doesn't understand what an offense is ...

I've made my position pretty clear, I don't think Carr is the problem. I actually think he's good. He hasn't been that inaccurate, the stats show he hasn't been. The problem is that Carmichael doesn't understand what an offense is supposed to do, move the chains. You have plays where it's like 3rd and 4 and he has everyone going to the end zone instead of trying to get to the sticks. I don't think he gets that you need to pick up first downs. Then you have all the dumb Taysom Hill plays where he's trying to be Sean Payton. We need a new OC, not a new QB.

This team is talented but can't win the way this coaching staff has handcuffed them with this pitiful game planning and **** poor coaching. Try moving PC into the press box off the sidelines where everyone can see his blank stares. Take the play calling away from him and find out if Ronald Curry is really an up and comer. Or, if we need to finally go out of house next year to replace this coaching clown show we're sitting through now.

It's all on the coaches to fix now what they haven't fixed inhouse for the last two years since Sean Payton left. That's not reassuring. Shake it up now internally this week rather than cautiously waiting for things to hopefully get better.

And while we're at it, somebody slap some sense into Doug Marrone!
