this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Actually, GB scored 28 points off turnovers. So the defense gave up what, 24 directly? Anyway, our offense still only scored 3 points against one of the worst defenses in the league....

Yeah but the defense gave up those points to the Packers without 1. Ahman Green 2. Bubba Franks 3. Javon Walker 4. Their starting center 5. Their two tackles played but had bad knees............. That's four of their five best offensive players were out and they still stomped the sh** out of us. That's just embarassing. No Green, Walker, or Franks? OK, so they had Donald Driver, Brett Favre, and Najeh Davenport for a little while and we still got dominated. This team is an embarassment and I am thinking that Haslett gets fired midseason and we hire Joe the peanut vendor in the Alamodome to be the new coach.

But it has been for a while now. Since 2000 and the playoffs, we have had new RB sand FBs, new receivers. new TEs, a new offensive line, a new defensive line, a new LB corp, a new secondary, new punter, new kicker, new assistant coaches. Only two positions has remained untouched. 3 points against one of the worst D's on the league is ghastly. But still, this TEAM is an embarrassment. |

If I was AB I'd be smiling too. After all he gets to pick up a big fat professional football 1st string QB check after playing like a second string high school QB. Extra lapse and field drills for you young man....

Come on guys!! Let's not justify the fact that Aaron Brooks isn't smart enough to master a children's puzzle. We must have not been watching the same game. He threw way more than one bad pass! Not to mention the fumble or the scramble & slide 1 yard short of a 1st down. But, the rest of the team sucked as well. The only difference-They weren't smiling about it on the sidelines. F**k Aaron Brooks!!!!!! Oh yeah, let's not forget about our moron coach, who managed to get our star runnning back hurt by keeping him in the game during a 42-3 route. Real smart Jim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now on top of Keaneu Reeves I would tke Burt Reynolds (Longest Yard 1), Adam Sandler (Longest Yard 2), and probably Scott Bakula (Necessary Roughness)...I want to see A-Mac get some time but what about some insurance like trading for Schaub, Rivers, Green, or Nall in GB, a louisiana guy back in the saddle where one should have been sitting the last 3 years, give him the chance to show he is better than Rogers...OK so I grew up with the guy..But he has one hell of an arm...And even though I have never met AB (Thank my stars) I can say this Craig is smarter and played some good ball last year and in the preseason and his not playing has been better than AB's playing this year.

I would take Danny frickin' Weurffel over Brooks & we all remember how bad he sucked. But on the serious tip, I don't think Atlanta would be crazy enough to get rid of Schaub. This guy will be a starter for someone soon & I don't think Atlanta wants to keep him in the division. Nall has a good arm, but sometimes cracks under pressure & really isn't the best of scramblers. With our offensive line, I would hate to do that to a native of Cenla. I really don't know about Rivers either (kinda' side arms the ball). Our best bet would either be to try & trade for David Carr who could be great if he wasn't so busy reenacting Archie Manning from his days w/ the Saints. This poor guy is having a tea party in the backfield w/ the opposing team's defensive lineman every play.
But here's the master plan: Lose the rest of our games & draft Leinhart!!!!! |
