Also, maybe the Saints should start negotiations with San Diego now to get either Rivers or Brees. Just a thought. |

the duration of Benson's ownership. Before that, with Mecom, it was pretty much more of the same. You also have to factor in that most free agents have NO as last on their list, because of the losing mentality that this organization has, coupled with the fact that NO is not exactly the most idea place for someone to come and pick up big-time endorsements. It is just a losing situation all the way around, and the only way that I can see us ever fielding a championship team is that if by some miracle that one year all of the mediocre players somehow play way above their heads for an entire year....not likely. |

I hate to say it, but I will likely be prejudiced against this kid just because he reminds me so much of Brooks. |

With Duece out we may be in contenion for Leinart. At least the 49ers and Texans are worse. I'd rather go 4-12 than 8-8, it would give us a far better draft position. AJ Hawk?haha

Why do people just automatically assume we're gonna be so much better if we get Matt Leinhart?
Sure, he might be the next Peyton Manning or even a Carson Palmer. Or he might be a Ryan Leaf or Rick Mirer... Hell, Tom Brady was a 6th round draft pick! |

I doubt this but I would love to have Marvin Lewis from Cinncinati. Look what he has done with his group of players. Damn he is a good Coach!!! Notice the word!!! A Coach!!!!!!
