Exactly what I was thinking. We know Carr can be a very good QB at times. We seem to have a coaching staff that gets that out of him less than in his previous stops not more. His 2024 salary is guaranteed. There is no salary cap on replacing coaches.

Dean Blandino is wrong again. It wasn't a catch. He always finds a reason to justify bad calls against the Saints.

This defense is so scared to hit a running QB

Cam Jordan and DeMario Davis combined on that stop. Our two oldest vets getting in the action. Cam needs a sack fumble now.

Because we are public enemy #1, which we will be until the NFL has no choice but to want to market as us a rising team, which they won't have to do unless we get a top QB in the draft, which is why Derek Carr was never going to be it even if he did get us to the playoffs to get robbed like Brees did.

Defense needs to wake up. Fortunate to only have given up 20. Hoping the offense keeps It going because we’re going to have to keep scoring to win this game

The score should be 35-6 Saints.

BTW, the World Cup Rugby match yesterday was South Africa vs. New Zealand. Our rugby party had players from both countries representing and the energy was intense. Unfortunately, New Zealand was eliminated. No more Haka's this year. Back to football......

Why do we throw short of the first down marker on third and long?

Pete reverting to his old ways again.

Kamara option route 5 yards short of line to gain

Because when other teams do it to us they get a first down so we think we can do the same thing.

Terrible play call on that third down. They looked like the offense we’ve seen all year… 2nd and 10 run up the middle, throw short of the sticks on 3rd

It's easy to criticize Pete Carmichael where we sit in front of computers with access to internet forums with fan suggestions on how to improve the offense, but to be fair Pete is an aging man in a noisy stadium having to remember those same fan suggestions from reading them earlier in the week, sometimes its hard to do that for 4 quarters and it's easier to just treat the playbook more like pin the tail on the donkey. There is a lot of pressure on Pete Carmichael not to call Dennis Sean and not to call Derek Drew, and asking him to also remember down and distance and call appropriate plays may be too much. Sometimes Pete needs to focus on the basics and just pick 3 plays and label them 1, 2, and 3 for the downs, but then he has to remember whether those are supposed to be for downs or quarters, and why there is no play with a 4 written on it, so he writes 4 next to a play where all the receivers run go routes just to be sure.

All this effort to get on the same page with Olave and Carr..... when are they actually going to be on the same page?
