Shaheed makes that play.

Olave is getting worse every week.

BakoSaint 10-29-2023 02:06 PM

Re: Saints at Colts Gameday Thread

Shaheed has earned the #1 WR job but the team won't give it to him bc he isn't a traded up 1st round pick or record contract they have to justify. Thats how you lose a locker room. It's like we have Tyreek Hill and we are using him like Mecole Hardman.

Olave is open so often and missed by Carr I’m not surprised he never saw the ball.

The offense obviously doesn't have faith in the system.

This is an extremely talented, poorly coached team. Frustrating to watch.

When Pete Carmichael calls Kamara 'Reggie' and calls Penning 'Kyle' it does not breed confidence in his modern offensive system.

Taylor was blocked in the back on that run.

We don’t get those calls.

We sat a glimmer of hope from this team in the 2nd quarter but we’re back to our usual terrible selves. Defense so undisciplined and inexcusable to allow this drive

Which Taylor? Are you talking about our tackling?

Momentum has completely changed following that drop.

We on the ropes now.

This game is a chest clutcher!

We have problems... but Taysom Hill ain't one of them

Re: Saints at Colts Gameday Thread

We had to burn a time out. You can't do that and win close games.

It's just like our Super Bowl year. We are a very close match with the Indianapolis Colts. Our QB is every bit on the same level as the Colts QB. We have had about the same record as the Colts all year. A second half INT could make the difference. Unfortunately this year the Colts are not prohibitive AFC Championship favorites.

Those plays to Kamara should be there every down unless they’re assigning two people to cover him…and if they are something else is wide open. Football isn’t hard.

And there he goes for a TD. Two points?

I don't think 2 points makes sense when you can go up 8 with the XP. If you make the 2, you make it completely a 2 score game, but if you miss it, you give the Colts the ability to tie with an XP or go ahead with a 2 point conversion. Especially when you can apply the penalty yards to the kick instead.

He may have had the ball punched out. It could go either way.

BakoSaint 10-29-2023 02:25 PM

Re: Saints at Colts Gameday Thread

Sorry I think thats a pass "Any intentional forward movement of his arm starts a forward pass, even if the player loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body."

I know the hand was affected by the hit and the pass had really bad mechanics as a result but he was still clearly moving his hand forward.

That’s a catch for Shaheed. Tie goes to the offense.

But this is why Taysom isn’t a starting QB.
