Makes it to the championship game? **** bro, I’ll buy underwear with his name on it.

Might make Guido jealous but he would be the one who knows how to get that underwear.

It would be great and all, but when I say its not gonna happen, its not that I am rooting against Adam Prentice, its just not consistent with what I have seen of his abilities.

Prentice isn't a RB. He's a FB. His primary job is blocking. He only has eight career carries and eight career targets. He has, however, caught seven of those eight targets.

Allen is, however, an actual head coach of a team leading their division with a good shot at making the playoffs. Making it to the NFC championship game is a realistic possibility.

Nope. No desire for individually branded underwear besides Brees. ;)

I wouldn't mind it if he came in as a consultant. He might have some good ideas, but I don't want him coaching in New Orleans.

So long as he wasn't in charge of any players. A different take on the offense as an advisor would be fine by me.

My good rugby buddy is from Philly and we watch a lot of Eagles games together. I asked him about Brian Johnson for the Saints HC job next year and he said that the offense bogs down too often even with Hurts running the show. He believes that Johnson's not ready to run a team just yet. But then again, neither is Dennis Allen!

Dennis Allen is only the actual head coach because some idiot looked at his 8-28 record with the Raiders and said lets hire that guy. This is not really any different than if an idiot had happened to see Adam Prentice's career average of 2.4 yards per carry and said lets make that guy our feature back and feed him 30 carries a game. 8-28 = 2.4ypc. Now can Prentice block, sure. Can DA coordinate a defense, sure. But promoting either beyond that is a mistake. Its just a matter of chance that we decided to make that mistake with DA not Prentice.

DA has us leading one of the weakest divisions in NFL history with one one of the weakest scheduled in NFL History with a .500 record bought with one of the most costly teams in NFL History in terms of the present and future dollars we have allocated, leading the league in 2024 money committed to win now in 2023. We may very well make the playoffs, but Kool Aid ain't gonna win us any playoff games unless Jim Jones is mixing it for all our opponents. We are 1 of 12 under DA against teams with a winning record. If we make the playoffs as division winner we will likely play only winning teams in the playoffs, such as the top wildcard like the Cowboys in Round 1 and a superior division winner in Round 2 like SF or Det. Our odds under DA are 1 in 12 in each of those games. So, if we make the playoffs, I would put our odds of playing in the NFC Championship game at 1 in 144.
