Josh McDaniels as OC or offensive consultant?
He knows Carr and has been successful as an OC. There does not seem to be much animosity from the relationship.
Much like Allen coming in as a defensive consultant do y'all think this could be a good move for McDaniels with him replacing Pete next year? |

Anywhere he’s been successful is when he wasn’t calling the offensive plays. And I’m pretty sure he and Carr are not homies.

Re: Josh McDaniels as OC or offensive consultant?
Sure that would be a great reunion to witness first hand. The guy directly instrumental it orchestrating Carr’s release and the Raiders paying the tidy sum of 40.6 million to do so. Now they will pay McDaniels the balance, 40 million, of his 60 million dollar deal to get him out of town ….. what a dysfunctional circus Davis is running. Oh and let’s not forget the balance of the Ziegler’s GM’s contract. 🤦 But it doesn’t count against the cap 🤭

Hard pass, if we do something (which I doubt) I’d say drain the swamp and start fresh

McDaniels was the beneficiary of Tom Brady. He probably runs back to NE for a new paycheck.

Hard NO on this idea! This guy is an example of someone who was just in the right place at the right time. NE's success had very little to do with his football IQ.
