Last I checked DA finished 8-28 with Oakland. So far in NOLA he is 11-14 :(. Saints chose “continuity” & so far this team is still stuck in mediocrity. You may recall Doug Pederson (proven, has a .600 win % with the Jags and a ring) really wanted the Saints gig . But yes, I completely agree. |

They need a change in scouting and overall philosophy They'll be stuck in mediocrity for a long time paying for overpaying and extending players because they couldn't afford to cut them. The scouts are still revelling in how good they drafted in 2017. Whoever scouts and picks the DE needs firing out of a cannon |

Re: What would it take to keep Dennis Allen
If we make the playoffs and win a game or two I would find it hard to fire him. I don't see that we have a roster to really compete for the title, mainly because of our problems at O-line.
What I would factor in if I was the GM, is an important thing that we as fans sadly see little of, is if DA still has the lockerroom. Does the players support and want to play for him? If that isn't the case its time to clean house. |

For me: NFC south crown and at least 1 win in the playoffs.
It's Gail Benson who is the one who needs to be convinced he's got to go and I'm not sure she's looking to give anyone in the current regime the boot! |

I couldn't agree more with this sentiment.
