After his defensive minded cowardly calls and lack of faith in his team in critical situations I passionately believe that Allen needs to be running somebody else's defense next year. Honestly, he could not have done much worse with this stacked roster that Loomis set up for a deep run. Why give him another chance to screw this up when history shows that this is the best it gets?

I don't fault your undying optimism but......I've thought long and hard about this. I've drawn a line in the sand. My mind is made up and there will be no second guessing my decision now. Sinner says it best " We need a new coach".
It makes no difference what any of us think. That's my point. WE are not making the decision. I'll accept whatever they choose because I know none of us have a say in the matter. If they're gone, fine. If they're still here, fine. I'm going to have my butt in the stands yelling my ass off either way.

We need a new coach? The only way any of us can truthfully choose a another coach is to choose another team with a coach we like.

This is a Saints forum. Constantly saying that it doesn't matter what the posters think is as pointless as constantly saying that the Saints need a new coach.
Of course these discussions have zero effect on how the Saints perform on Sundays. Were just fans interacting with other fans from all over the planet in one happy, dysfunctional place.

Exactly! I have the same right to point out the fruitlessness of wanting a new coach as do those individuals stating that they want a new coach. Calling me out on pointing out what I point out is no different than it would be for me pointing out what I point out.

Got it?

It doesn't change the fact that it matters not what any of us think. I never said that y'all can't think what you want to think, fruitless though it may be. Think away and enjoy!

That is the universal question. The answer, however, is 42.

We need a new coach? The only way any of us can truthfully choose a another coach is to choose another team with a coach we like.

But it does matter!
The Saints fans have to start expressing our unhappiness somewhere before we stop going to the games to get our point across to Miss Gayle and Mickey Loomis. We've got to start somewhere. Do you remember the petition to fire Allen last year that was circulating? There was a reason for that.
