Beloved to many, former Saints Quarterback Aaron Brooks returned to the Superdome for the Saints Bears game yesterday. He brought along another beloved former player, "The Beer Man" - Michael Lewis.

He does. He's a Saints Ambassador for the Organization. Probably came to visit with his old QB.

Fun fact: Brooks passed for a team-record 441 yards against Denver and led the Saints to their first playoff victory, beating the defending Super Bowl champion St. Louis Rams.

This is true!

Another fun fact: Brooks could defy the laws of physics and accidentally throw the ball backwards with his arm still going forward.

That was terrific. And I was one of Brooks' biggest supporters twenty years ago. I know he dealt with mistakes the same way that Kamala Harris handles pressure--with a nervous laugh or awkward smile.
I think it was JP that had a nice story of Brooks being kind to JP and his child in a store. Brooks is probably a good guy and he was a good QB.

Michael Vick's kin may have done better for himself post NFL career. Isn't he a real estate developer or something?
