Thoughts On Atlanta
There hasn't been a thread about this weekend's matchup against Atlanta. So, I wanted to start the conversation about matchups, weaknesses, strengths, injuries, predictions, and suggestions on how to beat a division rival in the first of two crucial matchups.
I predict that Atlanta will stay away from Adebo like they did when Lattimore was on the field because he has played very well this year. Atlanta will most likely attack Yiadom like they went after Adebo when he was corner number two. And it hurt then because Adebo has put up some good numbers this year in just ten games. My predictions is that Yiadom will get at least one interception and will play as well when needed as he did earlier. Maybe even better with more time in the system. I also won't be surprised to see Jordan Howden getting more snaps. |

Re: Thoughts On Atlanta
I'm afraid we'll get a screwing by the refs and have several ticky-tack pass interference penalties, along with a slew of drive killing holding penalties.
I got a bad feeling about this game. Just when we can create some separation in the standings we get slapped back down. Sorry, I woke up in a negative mood this morning. I'll snap out of it soon enough. |

This will be the game they figure out they have Bijan and run him straight at our LB's! I'm praying that Carr's concussion juggled something into place with his passing across the middle.

Re: Thoughts On Atlanta
We are a mediocre team. Atlanta is a lousy team. We have injuries. We have qb issues. They have worse qb issues. We beat them twice last years. Their DC shut out our DC last year. I give us 60/40 to win, but even if we win it wont prepare us for facing Dallas in January. This division is a race to doom as no team in it is built for the playoffs.

Re: Thoughts On Atlanta
-Just not comfortable with the OC. He has play . makers. He won't commit to the run at all . He calls too many bad plays for the situation. A lot of his routes
take perfect throws and catches to complete. -Carr is always in the same spot in the pocket. It makes it easier on the defense and tougher on the oline. He holds on to the ball to long. I had rather he throw it away or run and slide for a two yard gain than get sacked.. I would like him to say screw it and play with reckless abandon. -The defense had better be prepared to stop Pitts from the start. The loss of Lattimore is big. -The game will most likely come down to a kick. Advantage Atlanta. -The Saints mindset should be this game is a playoff game. Play with urgency. |
