This is a masterclass at throwing behind your receiver. Carr has about 15 rearview mirrors

He threw it 5 yards behind his intended WR and still threw a pick 6 to a player lined up on the opposite side of the center.

Why are we still continuing to leave Carr in there in the red zone? Can DA not see what everyone else can see ?

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread

I predict we will stick with Carr until late in the season. If we have a losing record and Allen/Loomis feel their jobs are in danger, they will start Haener for a meaninglessly small sample size like the last 2 games against bad defenses, so if he happens to play well in that short time or show any vague improvement they can sell it as the big genius plan for the future and argue Haener needs stability to become a hall of fame QB after we go 1-1 against two bad teams or whatever. Maybe our opponents will be playing for draft picks and let Haener throw for 250 yards and he can be our Ridder for next year.

I would think that the Saints are on the phone with receivers right now.
