Would love the Mannings to own it. Don't know why just that group seems to make things happen.

Watch the start of Derek Carr's press conference with the sound off. Concentrate on his body language. Does he seem kind of twitchy and off to anyone else? The first 4 minutes of the video he is also swaying side to side constantly while his eyes dart all around the room, he blinks rapidly, he keeps the brim of his cap low like his eyes are extra sensitive to the light. Just a thought, but could a substance abuse problem explain his performance the last two years? Vegas can be a place where a guy can pick up bad habits if he is dealing with a lot of frustrations and stress.

Carr on the Pick Six:
“He was playing single high and he left his responsibility. You don’t expect him to do that,” Carr said. “You don’t plan on that, for that route. I thought (Rashid) Shaheed made a good decision. But Bates is a good player and he made a great play. Very few times have I told someone good job on a bad play, but that was one where I told him, ‘You beat me. You made a great play.’ It is what it is. It sucks to have that happen."

At NO time did he own his bad decision, rather that the defender made a "great play"? This is this guy's mentality...

As a side note: Have we ever seen him take responsibility for poor decisions? Or is it always him ranting at his receivers on the sidelines? Inquiring minds want to know.

Not really sure what a change in scenery will do to fix this franchise. You can suck in a sexier stadium. Guess what? Yup. You still suck!

I’m talking about new ownership. I don’t care if we practice and play in a parking lot, but this ownership AINT paying attention.

Re: OBSERVATIONS FROM THE SAINTS LOSS TO THE FALCONS…

I listened to the first half on XM Radio. We went to Tennessee to spend Thanksgiving with my youngest son and to catch three of his gigs on Lower Broadway. We left Clarksville at 5:20 AM and made it home in time to catch the 2nd half. Once again injuries decimated us. A.T. Perry sounded like he totally froze in the end zone in the first half. If I was counting right we had six players miss time during the game on top of the injuries we were dealing with coming into the week. Lynn Bowden seemed to have stepped up a bit.

I'll need to check out the play by play to see what I might have missed.

That said, remarkably we still have our playoff destiny in our own hands.
