this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Derek Carr, Jason David, Jarius Byrd and Heath Shuler would make my Mt Rushmore, with Carr in the oversized George Washington spot....

Never dreamed I'd be placing DC4 on this list. But you have to based on salary alone and position at QB.

What say you?
His QBR was ranked bottom #5 vs a terrible Atlanta team.

Most of saw what we were getting (30-0 blow out of Raiders) last year with Carr.

He's performed (I'd say worse) no better than Andy Dalton but at least AD could score in the redzone.

Unfortunately AD seriously outplayed DC and that is very sad considering AD sucked really bad.

I’d rather have Dalton any day versus this Carr.
Our backup right now is 10 times better than this Carr.

Facts.

We need a spark badly. At this point, Carr is nothing more than a bridge QB in my eyes. I firmly believe that our substitute teacher's worst nightmare is for Jameis, Haener or Taysom to come in for four quarters and dominate ... essentially making Carr look bad is going to make people question the contract they gave him more than they already are.

12 weeks in, I'm very unimpressed but the warning signs were there from his playing days in Oakland/LV.

... which makes the pursuit of DC4 even more egregious . While last year was somewhat a pass, this year cements DA's tenure as a complete utter joke, even magnifies the gaping mistake with who was brought in to interview, Bienemie in DC and Pederson now in Jacksonville. Steelers did it right when they hired Tomlin. You'd think someone would notice.

Wow! Oakland Fans were on to something after all.

Sounds eerily like the SAME ISSUES DCarmaxx is having in New Orleans.

Captain Checkdown

We're in trouble.

He was a different cat but at least the Saints got some production out of him. The Dolphins gave the Saints a 1st round pick for him too so there's that. Which leads us to...

The Saints took that Dolphins first rounder and their own first rounder to move up in the 1st round to pick this clown. He may indeed be the worst acquisition the Saints ever made.
