Clean house now

Fire all coaches - the nearest drunk in the Quarter could do this well.

That is all…

Unless he’s talking about a port-a-pot located near the Dome then I think he’s mistaken.

Detroit didn't score enough points. Damnit. I was hoping for such a massive blowout that it would take care of it.

Saints front office better stop their Christmas shopping & wake up.

This isn’t going to get better with LD Bell (Allen) as HC.

We don’t know how to start or finish. Change is necessary.

The Saints are like an old car & is now leaking oil.

Get rid (Allen) of it. Replacing the fan belt & alternator won’t
make any difference whatsoever. Sucks Carmax got injured but I’m
not of fan of his overall play, now he’s not finishing games.

I’m just tired of this s*** show. Time to make moves.

Not sure who you're talking about, but while I'm tired of it I'm not going to let it control my every waking moment like some of the haters out there. Nothing I can do but be a good fan and continue to pull for my team. What happens after the season, win or lose, will happen. If we clean house, fine. I'll be in total support of it. If not, then fine. I'm going to don my black and gold every day just like I have for decades.

You need to stock up on MORE MERCH real quick, to send a clear message to mis-management to “just keep doing what you’re doing”.

And there is certainly plenty of decay to gorge on. But nah, we just sweeping it into next week, and most likely next season. Don’t worry. It will be in a big neat steaming pile right in front of you in the refurbished Dome, for you to bask in, for some time to come. It AINT goin nowhere.

I’d gladly make the trip from Detroit to The Dome for the party we let them have today. Especially knowing that Quido subsidized it.

Causation can often be difficult to nail down especially with an organization that has this many moving parts. My best stab at a summary looks like this…

Seventeen years ago Sean Payton and Drew Brees joined this organization and arguably changed its course. Just two years after both have departed and the organization is exactly where it was before they arrived. Nothing was learned, no culture seeded.

We went from a coach that couldn’t be baited by the press to one that will argue with his players in the media.:bng:

Our problem seems to stem from the top (ownership) down (coaches/staff/players) and ultimately drops on the fans, who those at the top CLEARLY have little to no concern for. And that’s a big problem.

Just watching the Niners/Eagles game today.

Both of teams (Dallas as well) play on a different level.

Saints are no where close. We got to get real coaching in here
if you want to truly compete with the big boys in Dec/January.

A participation trophy isn’t gonna cut it.

Agreed. We had all hoped that Dennis Allen would have a better record here in New Orleans as HC than he had in Las Vegas.

And what do ya know… his 5-7 is the best record of his career.

What's even scarier is that by defeating the next two NFL bottom dweller opponents (Panthers, Giants) will save the substitute teachers job.

Putting up a "good fight" against the Lions (#32nd in redzone defense) actually may have already done it .

Sad times ahead for this franchise.

Dude should have been gone this time last year. Now, I get to sit through another Holiday Season watching real teams with real coaches play, and advance into Post-Season. Ho Ho Ho…

Re: Clean house now

I was kinda optimistic early on when it was 21-0, I had seen nothing that made me feel confident AT ALL -- I felt like if this turned into a massive blowout, then there was a chance, however small but still a chance, that maybe they might fire Allen before the end of the season.

But then they got back in it, to their credit they played well in spots, but the 21-0 hole was juuuuuuust one score too many, to make up.

The big problem was that the game was juuuuuuust close enough, that I bet Dennis Allen gets another year now, because of the low bar they have for him. It's kinda infuriating. If it'd been a huge blowout, they'd have to take the prospect of firing him seriously. Now they don't.

Someone needs to send a memo out to our substitute teacher. His post game interviews have been spectacular  .
Now he's talking about "chopping wood". This isn't the NBA pal. There are only 5 games left in the season.

Wow, this guy is completely clueless :brood:.

You summed up my thoughts very nicely. I couldn't have said it any better. Maybe we lose more games than we win the rest of the year and Allen loses his job along with PC. But we might actually win enough to......well, you know! That would mean we have to keep Allen around until midseason 2025.

Well we don't live a microwave society. Before we eat, we have to chop wood.

Maybe if DA, Loomis, and Carr rub their sticks together fast enough they can start a fire. They are certainly trying.

There is already a fire burning. The house is burning down around them and they are trying to pee on the fire, like that would fix the problems.
