Re: Observations from the Saints' Surprise Win vs Panthers
What?! Not sure what game you were watching. Bryce Young couldn't come close to his receivers. He finished the game with a 48.0 passer rating. Carr had a very respectable 88.5 rating. They each had one turnover. Young was sacked four times. Carr once. Young was 13 for 36 (36.1%) passing. Carr was 18 for 26 (69.2%). Carr had two passing TD's. Young had zero. Not only was Young outplayed by Carr, but he was outplayed by a huge margin. Not even close. Several of the few Panthers' fans in attendance were booing Young in the 4th quarter.

Sounds like Carmichael's decision of not activating Graham earlier is becoming an issue.

Carr has always put up MVP type numbers, while playing like garbage. There was a stretch in the game where benching Carr wasn’t totally out of the question. |
