Re: Observation from the Saints' Playoff Chances with Four Games Left
For the dreamers among us:
New Orleans Saints What If? Control our own destiny, which is what any team wants and this team can't stand to do. Figure they will find a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and miss out by 1 game. |

Re: Observation from the Saints' Playoff Chances with Four Games Left
What is consistent about Dennis Allen is his inconsistency. Our most likely result is probably to finish 8-9. All the teams we play have very similar ability and QB talent to us. We could easily win the division at 8-9 or 9-8. 10-7 is very unlikely, it would go against everything Dennis Allen has proven his entire coaching career, that results may vary.
If we win the division we will face either the Cowboys or Eagles in the playoffs. Guido can root all he wants but unless their QB goes down that game is going to look a lot like prime Ali vs Frasier (from Cheers). And then we will have one of the hardest schedules in 2024 and lose at least 11 games. |

Watching the Giants (our next opponent) vs Packers tonight.
This won’t be a cake walk by any means & they are far more talented & opportunistic than the Panthers. |

Jesus, Danny DeVito is QB’ing the Giants….we are in a world of stinking Poo. Probably going for 100 yds on the ground and a couple of throwing TD’s.

It's a low bar, but I sadly think we're going to lose out for the remainder of the season. If they win, somehow, they're going to last until the final game of the season and lose the division to ATL. If they don't, then good for them but I really don't see any wins in there. I love my team, but I'm keeping expectations low. ![]() |
