The real shocker is holding down Barkley. How the heck did we set the edge for once?

But a result or two more like this could see me upgrade Dennis Allen from the horrible tier to the Jason Garrett "meh" tier.

If you don’t believe that a sh*t sandwich can become a Vince Lombardi, it doesn’t make you a hater. It means you’re a Realist. And a Real Fan.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win vs Giants

My observations from the game.

One of the best crowds I've seen this season. All the regulars were in our section.

Visiting fans were sparse and not very vocal at all.

The was a smattering of boos when Carr was introduced, but they were drowned out by the cheers.

The defense was smothering. They were flying around the field.

The Alontae Taylor unnecessary roughness penalty was bogus and the crowd booed for real for quite awhile.

I was fun watching the Giants fans streaming out with lots of time left in the game. It was obvious their team was greatly outclassed. I guess drinking on Bourbon Street seemed like more fun.

The offensive line really held up well without Ramczyk. Surprising.

The young WR's are looking like they're finally catching on.

The balance on offense was great. 29 runs and 28 passes. Maybe Carmichael is getting a clue.

Oh, and the Ying Yang Twins halftime show had the crowd buzzing coming into the 2nd half kickoff.

Actually, real fans don’t talk about not supporting their team in the manner you speak of to be quite honest. It sucks being a fan of this team right now all things considered. But I’ve been a fan since ‘85, so I’ve seen darker days, but not as dark as others. Show me any franchise that doesn’t see their team not be the cream of the crop anywhere in their history please. NE was a dynasty for 20 years and look at them now. Your whining is tiresome, and you seriously stalk Guido on a daily basis. I thought you were actually saintfan before he even brought it up. You’re worse than what you cry about on a daily basis.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win vs Giants

I did see Moreau down on the field exchanging jerseys with someone. I should have known it would be Waller. In fact, I can't remember seeing so many players exchanging jerseys after the game. There must have been five pairings of players on their hands and knees down there with their jerseys laid out on the turf signing away with their magic markers.
