No take what every Super Bowl winner since the 2017 season has done as gospel:

2x Chiefs: Stay under the cap and build responsibly.

Rams: Currently rebuilding after short spending spree when within reach, yet still better than the Saints.

Tampa: Currently rebuilding after short spending spree when within reach, yet still better than the Saints.

Patriots 2x: Stay under cap and build responsibly until your franchise QB is getting too old, then spend for one last run, then rebuild. They missed on the QB with the rebuild, but they can draft Jayden Daniels with a clean cap now and attract a good coach, so that looks a lot better than us.

Eagles: Won it all, rebuilt, got back to the big game and almost won, still under the 2024 cap. Maxxed out 2023 cap with restructures but didn't max out 2024 too.

None of these teams are over the 2024 cap. All recognize that you can either spend sustainably or cyclically but you can't go for broke every year.

Mickey Loomis believe two things have no limit: the salary cap and his liver. Hopefully the latter proves him wrong before the prior costs New Orleans its team.

And yes this is gospel Guido. If you disagree with me you will burn in hell for an eternity.

Salient points. Well articulated.

I repeat, we should take everything, or anything, said by some guy named BakoSaint as gospel?

I say this, of course, knowing full well that you'll keep repeating the same things over and over again, ad nauseum, twenty times per day. Not sure who you're trying to convince. Those that buy in would have already bought in and those who haven't, won't. As an aside, I suppose the sinner guy is still repeating his same rhetoric so this applies there, as well.

But, keep at it as long as it blows your skirt up.

(the aforementioned is not a slight of any sort, just an old saying)

Boy, this sinner guy must be the most frequently mentioned thing in the vast storehouse of things you choose to continue to ignore…. Oh, and by the way, we need a new Head Coach.
