I don't know why it took so long.

It seems like a player has to be eviscerated by every dinosaur in Jurassic Park before he's allowed to be placed on IR.

But this is what you get when you have a bitter lush for a GM who's fixated with Matlock reruns.

Just sounds to me like they were hoping that he might be able to return without surgery this season. By placing him on IR it may mean he's decided to go ahead and have the surgery.

Maybe Ram will have microfracture knee surgery, miss the entire 2024 season, and our excuse for keeping Loomis and DA in 2025 will be "Ram is coming back, put the league on alert, Championship!" Then Ram will have a setback in rehab and our 2-6 start in 2025 will be excused by "nobody could expected that injury!"

At this rate, we’re looking at a full rebuild at around 2030, if lovely lady Gayle survives. That will be at or around the time the Saints move to another location.

No they are not really into football. We don't have boys. Do you go on and on about how the Saints are still going to win the Super Bowl this year and Derek Carr is still in the MVP race to your wife and kids?

Absolutely. Just like I have my whole life. My wife goes to every game with me except the couple of times my son that lives in NOLA has gone instead. My son that performs in Nashville always wears one of his jerseys while on stage. He sings every Sunday and always makes sure one of the screens in the club is tuned into the game.

Except for the Carr part. I don't believe I have ever said he's in any running for MVP. That takes a capable offensive line. But I have always backed every player that wears the black and gold of the Saints except for fools like Gardner-Johnson and his sorry ass. :D

I actually think CGJ even being basically 100% injured might provide more value than many players on this roster. He has fire. That is contagious. That's why a coach with fire, Campbell, wanted him. Even 100% injured that is more valuable than all these 'stick with the plan, we have the right guys, lets sport wood and chop microwaves' guys DA is assembling.

It's cool that your son plays music in clubs with TVs. A lot of other people have kids who hobbies and interests involve places without TVs, like kids who want to go camping or go to amusement parks. At this point, I am not holding any dates in January for the Saints, because reality.

I went to every game I could when I lived near New Orleans. Except I probably did skip some of the 2005 games because I got fed up with Haslett. I have the same feeling this year. Its a shame that after that year the team forced out Arnie Fielkow who publicly wanted to keep the team in New Orleans and kept Mickey Loomis who had his finger in the wind and was trying to cozy up to Rita and assure his power if the team went to San Antonio.
