I don't deeply care if the Saints lose. I don't deeply care if DA is the coach in 2024 as long as he is gone in 2025. What I care most about is rebuilding and not doubling down on the senior tour roster and not trading future draft picks and ending up like the Panthers giving another team #1 overall. Our future draft picks are like insurance, and in football years our roster is over 65 and needs to be covered by Medicare. Actually Medicare might give our roster access to better doctors.

I have no reason to gamble with you on a game I believe is 50-50. If you want to bet with me 50-50 on the Saints making the playoffs or bet 50-50 on a game if we make the playoffs that is fine. I could see arguments that we have a 2 out of 3 chance of beating the Falcons, though I don't agree with those arguments, so a 2 to 1 bet does not really intrigue me, although it is probably a good bet. If you want to bet 50 against 20 on the Saints vs Falcons I would definitely take that.

This is like interpreting the box office success of Kevin Costner's Waterworld or one of these recent Super Hero flops without considering the context of its budget. Could 8-8 be a decent and encouraging record for a young and rebuilding team? Sure. It's a record we could also have had if we kept Dalton, let Michael Thomas walk, didn't extend Jordan, and began a rebuild. Is it encouraging for the most expensive team in the league, with the oldest roster in the league, committing more than double the future 2024 over the salary cap dollars of any other team in the league to win now, in the easiest division in football? Abso-****ing-lutely not!

A Camry is a decent car, be we paid the price of a Mazerati and got a Camry with 100,000 miles on it. Not such a deal for Used Carr!

No. Really… I saw something different… something about the way his line lips kinda curled down at the edges, and his nostrils almost flared… sort of like when we dominated the Giants… that same look. It was menacing and awesome and awful. I was trembling along with the players. He’s the next Lombardi I tell ya.

Since Dennis Allen won one of his last games he guaranteed that he'll be back losing in 2024. This offseason is going to be the same as last year. We will kick the can down the road and gp all in for another year.

At least we’ll be Super Bowl Champions this year. I did Quido’s math.
