His punting might look awkward to an American football fan that is unfamiliar with that style of kicking. Rather than punting straight through the ball, Hedley steps to the side and kicks it from a different body position sending the ball off at a different angle. Lou Hedley doesn't out kick his coverage teams. He consistently pins opponents inside the twenty and makes them drive the length of the field. My only concern is that him holding for kicks might be the reason we missed some easy field goals this year. It's not something he was familiar with when he came here. Laces Out! |

I'm pretty sure that Julie Haener had a full kitchen of happy young boys coming over after school and spending all afternoon at their house. But the best thing about hanging out with your friend was getting to look at his smoking hot mother! Does anyone remember the video and the song Stacey's mom? I was raised on a ranch in high school. So, there was nowhere close to hang out with that wasn't with a relative without going into town. But, when l went to college I had a good friend, Tim, whose mom was absolutely smoking hot and somewhat overtly flirtatious. I'll never forget Tim's mom!:lightsabre: |
Re: Way too early 2024 mock draft
I like would I've seen from (S) Jordan Howden however we need a true FS. Someone with more range. I would have paid to keep Marcus Williams.
Another sideline to sideline assassin @ LB. Demario is good but this is a young man's game. YOUTH movement. Try Oline again but not in the first rd. A quality starter can be found on Day 2 & 3 of the draft. See Rams Steve Avila (G) and Bills O'Cyrus Torrence (G). Dawgs from Day 2 of the 2023 draft. |

Probably one of our most consistent lineman in 2023 & was decent at LT. But yeah, another aging (turns 31 this season) vet. It's time for the YOUTH MOVEMENT in New Orleans :bng:. |

That said, by all means, we need to keep trying to get lucky on the position through the draft. Free agents at those positions are usually players that have already failed with other teams or aging veterans a few years past their prime. Anyone we draft will likely take a few years to develop. With college offenses being what they are today (shotgun, spread, etc.) very few linemen have the chance to enter the NFL anywhere near ready. |
Re: Way too early 2024 mock draft
I just mentioned this in another thread, but it goes better here, if the chance arises I would love to see us select LB Payton Wilson out of NCSU, the winner of this year's Chuck Bednarik award as the nation's best defensive player. Demario may only have three or four more years before he decides to hang them up and Wilson is the type of player that could take over those duties as a leader.
