I only find one seventh round compensatory pick for the Saints at #257. Is this right?

Jared Verse, Dallas Turner would be logical choices with that 1st rd pick.

Father time has finally caught up (least productive season since rookie year) with Cam Jordan & Payton Turner’s health is 50/50 each week. Granderson needs legit help chasing these mobile QBs.

Time to find less expensive help via draft.

That's hard to do without a third or fourth round draft pick. Too bad because those are the picks where we usually strike gold. Lattimore may be traded and we could acquire another pick that way. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see us bundle a bunch of our late round picks to move up for a player who dropped in the draft that we like, but I'd prefer restocking the shelves with those draft picks.

We have drafted well in the later rounds and we need to develop some youthful players to help get under the salary cap. Loomis and Ireland nail the drafts where they have several top picks to work with. We don't have them this year. So, I'm not expecting too much from this draft outside of those late round gems and UDFA's that we seem to do so well with. We need a couple of starters and several developmental role players to be successful this year.

Right here I'll guarantee that we move up into the third and/or the fourth. They'll have a couple of players that they feel won't side down.

Tell that to the Niners Rugs.

They had 5 picks total in the 2022 draft. Oh and guess what? Their LAST PICK (7th round) from that 2022 draft class is about to suit up & START at QB in the biggest game on the planet in just a couple of hours ... AKA Mr. Irrelevant.

Saints need to master due dilgence, find a way or bring in better National scouts .

Excuses on "why you can't" is a big reason why the Saints are at home watching in post season.

Saw a recent “mock” (rd 1) with the Saints selecting WR - Rome Odunze.

Washington Huskies

With Klint now on board & his offensive VISION... hmm. Could be an interesting move.

A guy with Bowers ability could really help our offense IMMEDIATELY. Juwan and Foster aren't moving the needle.
