I'd welcome him in ...

Worked with McVay. The Saints need a guy who can really open things up offensively.

But I'm pretty sure that Jon Gruden is already looking at houses in Metairie close to the facilities.
I've heard he's looking at the Garden District.

A new OC that led his team to scoring less points that the Saints last year
Just look at the replies from Seahawks fans, at least the Saints can save on airfare, most of the Seahawks fans would drive him to New Orleans

I suppose, but a more specific complaint by many is his conservative red zone play calling, not a good thing for us. But hey who knows maybe he’d do wonders for us.

I'm liking the idea of an experienced play caller to run the offense.

Take all pressure off DA and let him focus more on the Defense.

Didn't he improve Geno Smith's overall game though? Specifically his ability to move in the pocket.

DCarr needs all the fine tuning he can get.

He did help improve Geno, but Geno is a little more willing/mobile than Carr i think. He would definitely be better than what we've had the last few years.

Re: 5 Possible OC Candidates

Just give me someone who is an Alpha male and can be the HC on offense. We need someone to establish accountability. It was obviously missing under Pete Carmichael the last couple of years. I'm not sure which one of the candidates is the best man for the job since I don't watch other teams play anymore. But I'm reading everything I can get my hands on about their coaches and free agents because I want to be informed about my team and the direction we may take!

I do know that there are several qualified candidates still coaching playoff games that we probably have our eye on. Like Mickey said, this takes time, so let's take the time and get it right.
