Re: Disappointed but not Discouraged
OH btw, one more thing. A **** meal is being a Falcons fan who again finished behind us and is again looking to find direction to their franchise!

for one that claims to "ignore", you sure do let the ignoree's (?) opinion, get to you, you seem to have the need to pull one's (your) string to spew your worthless opinion .....

Re: Disappointed but not Discouraged
Good question, Boston. Very commonly "rebuild modes" tend to become perpetual in franchises. Detroit has been rebuilding since 1957. Atlanta since 1966.

That's why I set a small handful of these perpetual haters to "ignore". I can still share news of the team I love and "mostly" not deal with those that constantly spew the hate.

Re: Disappointed but not Discouraged
I hear you, but taking in to consideration where we’re at and what we’ve been accustomed to, it’s hard to find much optimism anywhere you look, not just this site, when it comes to this team, especially when it appears the franchise is headed into being content with mediocrity

Re: Disappointed but not Discouraged
Quido, everybody knows by now that your “IGNORE” function is as impotent as our current Head Coach. Please adjust your settings.

I define rebuild mode when a GM decides to change direction after the current team and/or coaching in place is not effective anymore. It gives the franchise a chance to clear some cap space, get rid of aging players that arent as productive and/or older players that are about to reach that point but still have some trade value left in them. Build through the draft to gain a younger team while still keeping key players that can contribute to the new direction you’re heading. You’re right, it can be hard to define because there are different levels of rebuilding. What I just stated would be an extreme case. At any rate, that’s what I would define as a rebuild team, and the Saints aren’t there |
