As Brooks goes, so goes this team........moreso than ever..

Look at the season so far.

In Carolina, Brooks makes several solid throws.....plays fairly flawless except for one fumble................and in return, the Defense makes plays, special teams does well, basically everyone raises their play. Penalties are kept to a minimum.

In NY (oh, I mean "at home" against NY), Brooks's overall play is decent, but 2 or 3 of his critical turnovers play a factor. As a result, the Defense falls apart, penalties hit again, Carney misses a chip shot, and everyone with the exception of Joe Horn and Donte' Stallworth plays fairly mediocre.

Home for Buffalo: Brooks commits no turnovers, again plays flawlessly, rushes for some key first downs and a TD................and in return, the D plays great, and we only commit 4 penalties.

In GB, the Saints D forces Green Bay to go 3-and-out on their opening drive.........the Saints offense drives down the field and kicks a FG, Brooks seems to be playing ok..............but after the score became 7-3, Brooks throws an awful interception to Al Harris, and from there....BAM! The wheels fall off, the Defense plays like a Junior High team.......Brooks continues struggling.......and evnetually gets pulled......final score, 52-3.

This team has GOT to learn to overcome mistakes. If Brooks throws a bad pass, then the D needs to get the opposing team off the field, or create a turnover. On the flip side of that, if the D is struggling, then Brooks and the rest of the offense should put points on the board to compensate. I'm getting sick of seeing the wheels fall off for this team after 1 or 2 bad plays........this has been a problem for a few years.
