Rivers appears to have the right attitude

Rivers would be a huge upgrade over Brooks. He would not be laughing after a mistake or shaking his head in disbelief. He would be in peoples asses and on himself.
The only problem is that we would have to trade our number 1 pick in 06 to get him and that looks like a top 5 right now. So the questions really becomes Rivers, Leinart, or stick with AMAC in my opinion. If I were running the show I would try and trade Brooks now while you may still be able to get something for him (you just know some dip like Billick in Baltimore or what's his name in Detroit would think they were smart enough to turn his career around and give up a 5th rounder to try) and let AMAC take his lumps this year. You then pick up the best LB, LOT, or DT on the board when you pick in the top 5 of 06.

Probably true

A smart QB would make Haz look brilliant.

Sustained drives and TD's in red zone visits would make the D look like all-pros.

You just don't stop do you?

Just so you know....the D can't stop Al Harris from running AB's high school passes in for TDs. Or Blouman's for that matter.

They also can't help the Saints stop settling for FGs cuz the offense can't score.

You deflect every bit of criticism thrown at AB. Just go home, dude. You have no idea what you are talking about. AB's QB rating on sunday was a freaking 25!!!!! A 25???? Against a banged up D coming off a Monday night hangover.

Stop deflecting it to the coaching and defense. I'm not gonna tell you that either are very good, but a QB that kills drives and changes his skillset every game is the worst poison any team can have.

Brooks is done. He cannot do the job. Period.

Again, when you talk about Defense, are you going to tell me that the 3 points we put up on Sunday will win a game? The 85 Bears may not even win with an O that impotent.

How bout this for our D.....The Green Bay defense outscored the AB led offense 14-3.

So give it a rest....please. It is sooooo annoying to see anyone defend this guy after Sunday. I have defended him when the criticism was unwarranted, but he is getting worse.

Hell, I'd take Ryan Leaf or Akili Smith in place of Brooks right now!!!!! At least they didn't smile when they were killing their teams.
