Rivers? Me too. I'd be more comfortable with Brees, and definitely Leinart. But, how could it be worse? Oh, if Rivers had to learn under these coaches..................

The Saints currently have a quarterback who for some reason the ball just falls out of his hands as he is about to pass and Rivers scares you ????
I am checking the calendar to see if it is April 1 ...... |

I like Rivers... very accurate as a college quarterback. Throws a good deep ball and has great size. One bad thing is he throws a little sidearm. But with his size... who cares.

RE: Gotta love that Peter King
I would take Rivers over AB right now too, but that's not saying much. Rivers has never been tested. Sure he's big and he was a pretty good college quarterback, but his mechanics are just awful, and we don't have the kind of coaching that can take that kind of raw talent and turn it into an efficient product. I'd rather get somebody who doesn't need a lot of coaching on the fundamentals, since our team is probably the worst in the NFL at that.

Guys, right now I would take a piece of ass lint for AB right now. The guy is getting progressivly worse every game he plays. Watch, this week he lights up Atlanta! I bet he does. He is actually inconsistent enough to have a career game against Atlanta after one of his worst games as a Saint.
