The best thing about living on the credit card in the NFL is that there are no credit card fees. Just free money that increases every year that we don't have an epidemic.

For Klint Kubiak to succeed we need to invest heavily this year on the O line in free agency as well as early and often in the draft. Maybe even give him a possession receiver. While we're at it, let's get an edge to get after the QB. Just sayin'.

Do we push the cap too tightly? Yes! Do I expect to change how much money we owe future players? Yes. Mickey even hinted at getting back to a more manageable salary cap at the end of the season. We will restructure contracts but they won't be as cumbersome. It may take a couple of years but if the salary cap keeps increasing more than expected each year then we'll catch up even sooner.
Here is my article on how the salary cap is not like an interest free credit card:

Rather not waste my time reading more of your crap. You are beyond warped, buddy. Starting a website named firemickeyloomis.com? You're way more obsessed than I had originally thought. Holy crap! You are beyond help at this point. Sheesh!

Holy cow I must be the first sports fan in history to make a website advocating to fire a coach or GM. It’s unheard of. And registering a domain costs like $20 a year. And I would have had to buy a keyboard if I didn’t already have one for Microsoft Word. OMG beyond help lol.

Not the first, for sure. But, one that has joined the elite society of those rare few that are so obsessed. Do y'all have meetings and such? Bet it's hard to get a quorum to vote on officers and all.

Re: 2024 Salary Cap Likely to be Higher Than Projected

Projections have gone back and forth. The cap for 2024 was expected to be about $255 million as of Fall 2023 and them expectations dropped to anout $240 million. One analyst now thinks it may be as much as $250 million while others are saying $242-$243 million.
