It feels like that 2am, last call, sort of ‘all in’. Drew ranked in the top 3 with crappy defenses. |

I'm just kinda tired of hearing analysts & sports experts point out that "it takes time to get acclimated to the offense". This is year 10 for Carr who often struggled (even when the o line held up) & then I see a rookie of the year (CJ Stroud) ball out of control or a 2 year starter (Jordan Love) throw for over 4k but more importantly lead his team to a playoff win in 2023 ![]() Carr just strikes me as a guy who doesn't want to accept blame when things go bad, like "it's not my fault". He still locks in on WRs & is quick to dump it off. All I see is a high end game manager. The new OC will help but I'm just not sold on Carr (prove me wrong) leading us back to where we want to be. He's just not that dude. As for Brees ... he was just a different cat ![]() |

Is there any good reason for college and professional football to last an hour longer than high school other than advertising dollars? Cutting the quarters to 12 minutes might possibly be the best step in avoiding injury and extending careers. And I digress....![]()
Back to the OP. "All in on Carr" feels like signing a $25M 7 year note on a minivan. It has some utility but no performance. |

Re: NFC South Quarterbacks
It is what it is. The only time in Carr's career when he didn't rank in the top 3rd was when Pete Carmichael was his play designer and caller.
