Not a bad move for a player like that, and only 200 point difference. Only thing is is where are we gonna get it from without a third or fourth rounder? Maybe package a 2025 third? I’d hate to use our first and second this year unles we get a player along with that 10 spot from the Jets

I agree. It looks like it should be one of those positions, maybe a CB. There are a lot of great CB's still left.

If DA actually had input on the 1st pick I have to give him credit because we had our pick of any defensive player in the draft and he we still went offense. Had to be gard to turn that down.

True, but they did spend the first two picks on defense last year with Bresee and Foskey.

I might be in the minority but I don't think that WR is a big position of need. Both lines should be addressed as well as the secondary before WR.

It won't surprise me to see us pick another O lineman in the fifth round to help give us better depth along the line. Right now, we don't know much about how the rest of the line shakes out with Penning, and Ram and we need to do better than we did last year protecting our QB and opening holes for the running backs to at least make the line of scrimmage before getting hit.
