..if you want an athletic LB who freelances a lot and runs himself out of plays - therefore putting more pressure on the other 2 LB's to make a play - while once in a while wooing you with a feat of incredible athletic ability, LaVar is your guy.
..don't get me wrong, I like LaVar, but he's better off sitting on a bench in Landover than with the Saints. LaVar is like a mean pitbull who's trainer releases the leash and says "sic boy!"... the Saints don't have a trainer... |

I agree. We have cheaper players now than him who are already adept at getting themself out of position and failing to maintain the scheme integrity.

I disagree. We should pick this guy up. At least he might make 3 or 4 plays a game. That beats being out of position on EVERY play. We need some mean-as-hell, take no prisoner players on that D. We could probably get this guy cheap as well. Maybe a 4th rounder or for AB. |

At this time in the season, not a chance. You gotta figure his cap alone would make it impossible. Now if he agreed to re-structure his contract in the offseason, which I can't see him being willing to do, it might make sense to give it a chance. Like Tobias said, we have no one that can keep this guy in control. The Skins are a good defense and they see him as a liability. Sure the guy might happen to make 3-4 big plays a game because of sheer athleticism, but 5-6 big plays will happen against us because he blows his assignment freelancing out there.
While I agree, we could suck no matter which way you see it. I personally hate the ego-maniacs and the selfish players. I view Arrington in that light. |
