Baldy talked about this last year ... multiple times.

He's simply a bad 1st round draft pick.

If the defense can pressure the QB anywhere near their potential, to go along with the ability of the secondary to cover, the defense might outscore the offense.

With this new offense putting up 28-34 per game I guess we'll be laying 50 or 60 burgers on everyone this year.

Seriously, we had the 14th highest scoring offense in the league last year and that was with Carmichael driving the boat. It won't take much to get into the top ten and not a huge stretch to reach top seven. You couple a top ten offense with a top five defense and you are going to win a lot of games.
