All of those are expected. Olave had the minor shoulder deal during OTA's and was practicing in a no contact jersey.

Ramz is officially done.

Not surprised here though. His knee was never going to get better.

Oline is my biggest concern. If it isn't stout, you have no chance.

Re: Official 2024 Training Camp Discussion

I noticed on twitter there's some confusion about the status of the aforementioned players so I thought I might try to clear it up here. The injury related rules differ between the pre-season (OTA's, minicamps), training camp, and regular season.

TE Juwan Johnson, DE Tanoh Kpassagnon, LB Nephi Sewell and DE Chase Young on the physically unable to perform list to begin training camp means they can't practice until cleared and they count toward the 90 man roster and can be activated at any point during the training camp. If not activated they would go on the regular season PUP list.

T Ryan Ramczyk on the reserve/PUP list means he doesn't count against the 90 man roster and must start the season on injured reserve. I believe he can be recalled, but not likely.

WR Chris Olave on the non-football injury list simply means his status hasn't changed from when he was practicing during OTA's and minicamps, but given training camp has started it is now required to be reported.

REPORT: The New Orleans Saints’ Former 1st-Round Pick Is Healthy Ahead of Training Camp

I felt really good going into last year,” said Turner, who had 29 career tackles and three sacks. “Unfortunately, the first game I had that toe injury. I did have an offseason back procedure. I’m feeling good. I’m feeling healthy right now and I’m ready to get after it this year.

“The only thing you can do in this league is control what you can control. So, I’ve had some bad luck with some injuries. I’ve taken this year and last year and fine-tuned my process, my routine. I feel like I’m in a good spot heading into this year. I’m excited to see what I can do
.”

We shall see.
