Again, if you can deal with another year of Dennis Allen on our sidelines, you can deal with my complaining about it (among other things). Gonna be a long season. Stocking up on low dose aspirin and cigs for sure.

That isn't Kumbaya. That's reality. Whether I can deal with another year of Dennis Allen on the sidelines is irrelevant. Dennis Allen is going to be the head coach of the Saints for 2024. He is going to be on the sidelines. I think you misunderstand where I'm coming from. I'm not saying that your complaints are not valid. If the goal is to field a squad that has a realistic chance of winning a championship in it's current form, the Saints fall significantly short of that goal. And you are probably right that a change in leadership at multiple levels is likely necessary for that to be accomplished. But none of those changes are going to happen now. The cake for 2024 is baked. If you don't like, at this point all you can do is choose not to eat it. I'm not asking you not to be angry. I'm not asking you not to complain. All I'm asking is that you put all that vitriol in a single spot on this forum so that the rest of us who have in fact come to the acceptance phase of whatever the 2024 Saints are going to be can at least talk about it. But as I already said, that's not your objective. Your objective is to make everyone else as angry with the Saints as you are by screaming at anyone who dares to say anything about the current construction of the team other than it needs to be blown up. Guess what? Talking about this team, in it's current form, is the entire purpose of this site. Which means that every post, every thread is a target for you. That doesn't work. And so, since you're going to complain, I'm just going to keep asking you how do you fix it. Who do you get in here after you've blown up the team? It's the only constructive conversation I can have with you, so I will have that. There are at least 6 leadership positions in the Saints organization that you want changed. Pick any one of them at start discussing who can fill those positions and what changes they should make. Since it isn't reality, you are free to speculate. There are a lot of football people out in the world. Talk about how some of those football people can make the Saints better instead of just complaining that the current football people in place are not good enough. SFIAH |

Your complaining is unproductive because absolutely nothing comes of it. At least make it productive by telling us how the Saints turn this around to your satisfaction. Who out there is our Brad Veach and Andy Reid. What can a new GM do that Loomis isn't doing now, which is obviously keeping Dennis Allen instead of getting rid of him and bringing someone else in. Who is that someone else? Look at the 2024 coaching class. Anyone there you would have replaced Allen for? Who would have a good fit here. My brother wanted Jim Harbaugh in the worst way. Here a list of 2025 HC prospects. Can any of them turn the franchise around in your mind? Ben Johnson, Lions OC. Pete Carroll, former Seahawks HC. ... Ejiro Evero, Panthers DC. ... Aaron Glenn, Lions DC. ... Shane Waldron, Bears OC. ... Brian Flores, Vikings DC. ... Frank Smith, Dolphins OC. ... Al Harris, Cowboys assistant. ... Mike Vrable Bill Belechik BTW this isn't just for Sinner. Everyone is free to join in. SFIAH |

For example, it's clear that the Saints transition from Sean Payton was to keep the boat steady, transition without drowning after Brees' exit, and continue to be playoff level contenders in the NFL. Allen has so far fallen short of that vision. Of course, some fans believe it's an unmitigated disaster being 3 years out of the playoffs. Many want Allen changed out. Some want Loomis replaced. If this happens, then what vision will a replacement bring that will elevate the team beyond it's current status. Our friend Sinner has no clue what that is. Just giving him some choices so that he can tell us how some of these folks could possibly fill the vision that he really really wants. There's no need for you or I to entertain this. We can actually talk about Allen, Kubiak, and the 60 or so players that have a realistic chance of making the 2024 squad. We can talk about the fact that in the first 6 games if the Saints can win the 3 division games plus at least one against Dallas, Philly, or KC, that would essentially be in control of the division after 6 games with a much lighter schedule for the last 11. We can talk about how a new offensive scheme can maximize the talent that we have. Of course in Sinners eyes any or all of these makes you a rose colored glasses, Kumbaya, mediocre accepting wannabe Saints fan. So, Sinner can't talk about any of that. He is blocked by the fact that Loomis is still the GM and Allen is still the head coach and that there is no chance of that changing before January 2025. So, prospects for replacement is something he can focus on. So, let him have at it. SFIAH |
