If the Saints play their cards right, and keep getting hidden gems like Rico and others, lots of tough cap strapping contracts fall off of the books in a couple of years.

Assuming of course they don't offer any more stupid contracts for older players not worthy of additional $. Moving on from Kamara, Taysom, Carr and others when their contracts expire feels like a breath of fresh air. Wouldn't it be nice to have a young up and coming QB under a rookie contract for a while? I dare say it wouldn't make a difference in the W/L record, but maybe improve it.

I can see the others, but much like Deuce McAllister, I suspect that the Saints will keep Kamara on as long as he wishes to continue while retiring as a Saint. There is that goodwill that comes into play when dealing with a fan favorite like Kamara.
