The 2024 Sunshine Oasis: Positive Saints Talk Only
Let's see if we can have one spot on this board where we can talk about the upcoming season in a positive light without being heckled by the doom and gloomers on the board. It's a restart of the the "Reasons to be Positive" thread, which now is a 30 page plus barren wasteland.
So my first question: What camp battles are you looking forward to? SFIAH |

Re: The 2024 Sunshine Oasis: Positive Saints Talk Only
Lattimore vs Adebo vs Taylor vs Koolaid for starting corners. I think any could start.
TE I think any could start. RT I see as wide open if Ram is not healthy. It would be great if Ram is healthy. If not, starter may not currently be on our roster, but thats not a bad thing to find a value late in the offseason. Backup QB will be interesting. I hope we have competition at punter. DE rotation will be interesting. I would like to see Bresee win a starting gig at DT. If Bresee takes a step forward, starts, and is able to sustain a high rate of pressures while being respectable against the run, that potentially helps the team more than any other player. I hope this is positive enough in light of the question. Maybe I am harsh at RT but the Saints have found useful players from other teams cuts in the past, like Taysom Hill, so if our next find could be a RT that would be great. |

Penning vs. The Critics
Boom or Bust this year. If he can find his way to better play in a position not LT. |

I think that this might be a redshirt year for Bub Means but I'd like to see him and/or A.T. Perry make a splash.
I don't see Smoke Monday on the official site so I worry that he didn't pan out. |

While Williams may be the safer bet, I think its definitely in Saints fans interests if the younger, less costly, and potentially more explosive player is able to rise to the top. So nothing personal against Williams, but I will be rooting for Miller to take the job with strong performances.

That said, Williams had some pretty solid receiving numbers himself with 18 catches in 20 targets. He was the only player on the roster with seven or more targets that didn't drop a single ball thrown his way. |

I’d love to see Shaheed get more targets. His hands are elite.
