In that case it would have been one of the young guys that couldn't keep us in the running. I could see a move from Carr after the season if for some reason we do not make the playoffs. Not because that move would mean a better QB in 2025, but more for cap related reasons. It would be that "rebuild" which I dislike by fielding an inferior team hoping (wishing, dreaming, etc.) that something better could come in the future.
