Edit: Only players with less than four years are subject to waivers. Robinson has four years and is a free agent now not subject to waivers.

I guess allowing teams to rummage through everyone else’s discard pile is the reason why there’s a two week Break until the first game of the season.

The way I read the program, one IPP player doesn’t count against the 90 for training camp or the limit for practive squad but they do count against the 52 man regular season roster and to get them from training camp to the practice squad you do have to waive them in case some team wants to sign them to the 52. I could have it wrong though. If a foreign kicked didnt count against the 52 then half the nfl would cut their american kicker to get an extra roster spot.

Actually he fits into the NFL. Just heard on NFL Radio that there are currently 212 players on the IR and PUP. That's enough to fill four full 53 man rosters and the league hasn't even played one regular season game.

Not sure why Lalos keeps landing on the practice squad.

He's played way better than Isaiah Foskey. The former 2nd rounder has no moves, no technique. Nothing.
