53-man roster deadline

Date: Tuesday, Aug. 27
Time: 4 p.m. ET

NFL teams are required to submit all roster cuts by Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 4 p.m. ET. The deadline has typically landed on the last Tuesday of August, leaving teams with just one week to finalize their salary caps before the regular season begins.

In addition to the final 53-man roster, each team has 17 slots open on the practice squad. Some players who are cut from the official roster will be selected for the practice squad.

Not sure Hedley gets cut but we need a better punter.

At this point, there should be a ton of punters better than Hedley on the wire tomorrow. He's just not good. Not sure who he knows but he has one job and struggles with consistency at that.

Rico would be a hard cut. We're looking really deep at DB.

TCU Kendre Miller. “Best ability is availability”.

Hindsight is 20/20 but you could have had De’von Achane in that same rd of the draft. Also Tyjae Spears in your back yard (Tulane).

RBs dime a dozen. Plenty on market. Don't see the need to keep Kendre, real question is will we get anything for him???

Time to move on from Hedley now and let him focus on his quest for a 2028 olympic bronze medal in flag football for team Australia. He could be the next Ray Gun.
