I say this because we “should” have all of the confidence needed to prove that whatever we developed under wraps, and flaunted against the Panthers, can be brought onto the road and executed against a tougher opponent. If we can even come close to dominating the Cowboys in their house, the way we looked in the Dome yesterday, we will know that we have something special going on this season. The whole league will be put on notice. Sunday can’t come quick enough…

So the spread is Cows (-6.5) 45.5 after the Saints absolutely flame broiled a NFL team by damn near 40 points 👀.

I knew the Carolina Panthers were bad but not this bad.

Or perhaps (the dreaded) we’re not that good? We will find out soon enough…

I think this team will show a lot of grit in 2024.

IMO, this defense will be good (11+ wins) enough to give us a chance each week. Starting with the Cows on Sunday.

Spreads are "public opinion". Dallas fans will jump on getting less than 7. Saints fans will think they should be able to keep it to a one score game.

Spreads are actually odds makers, driving the betting trends.

The Point Spread is Based on Public Opinion. One often-made mistake is assuming that the point spread is an accurate representation of which team is better. Because a point spread is meant to attract bets on both teams in a game, the point spread is set based on a number to draw more bettors.

Team health will be important. Did Lattimore get hurt bad? I heard he had a hammie issue.

Hammie issue related to the hip issue. Guaranteed to impact his performance this week against Lamb.
