Re: Haener or Rattler
At this point of the season the majority of people around here had the Saints at 2-3 or 1-4 based up the scheduled teams. Given the rash of injuries to the offensive line primarily it's not surprising where we are right now. From this point on we have the easiest stretch with our remaining schedule. I am by no means counting us out of a playoff run as we get players back. I'm also expecting a win this Sunday to start that run. Rattler gives us the best bet to avoid the pressure caused by o-line injuries. Our receivers are getting open. They just need the time to be targeted. Rattler can buy that time with his legs. He's also more prone to make mistakes than Carr, however.

Rattler it is... I wonder, though... Is his jersey number a jinx in the making ? It's Dave Wilson's old jersey number for those who have forgotten.

Is He? Yes, I'm sure he is on paper, as an untested rookie. That goes without saying. But the mistakes a green rookie makes are often more understandeable. But most of the mistakes a highly paid veteran makes, are unforgivable. I'm excited to see what he can do. |
