Re: Haener or Rattler
I honestly thought Carr played good considering the situation. Idk if Brees in his prime wouldn't consider this o-line a challenge. I'm actually shocked Allen went with the rookie. I have always criticized his lack of aggression on offense but he has proved me wrong this year. I still think we could do better as far as a coach and I hope that o-line doesn't destroy this kids confidence. I still think that's what happened to Tim Couch but at least we have weapons.

Re: Haener or Rattler
If you are looking for rainbows, do not read.
It seems like we have a broke d1ck QB, a broke d1ck back up QB, and we are starting a third string QB that is about to get his d1ck broke because the Center is broke d1ck (literally groin injury)... Carr(oblique) and Hill (rib) both have injuries in the same region which begs the question, were they wearing adequate Rib Guards. |

Re: Haener or Rattler
A few weeks back it was brought up on who would take over in the case we lost Carr. We knew at the time Haener was being declared as the game day backup. I said I thought if Carr missed a start it would be Rattler, however, that started. It makes sense especially with the line issues. Haener is, like Carr, a pocket QB primarily and would operate the same game plan so it made sense that he was an "in game" replacement. Rattler has a different skill set, however, and would have a different game plan in place. I expect we'll see a noticeably different look Sunday with Rattler behind center.

Re: Haener or Rattler
From my perspective Carr definitely isn't the problem. He's played really well imo. He's kind of been turned into a matador without a red cape, but I think he's making the best of the situation.
