It could never happen. The NFL operates under a collectively bargained agreement between ownership and players. The whole structure guarantees that nothing like that ever could take place. The cap is contractually tied to revenues. The players are contractually guaranteed 48.8% of that revenue.

Great opportunity for Means to show he can be a productive player and a once in a lifetime chance for Tipton as well. We were thin from the start at WR.
